Influenced by the minimalist concrete buildings of Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the 22 designers have sought to pay homage in the form of the 4th Dimension Clock. Resembling a spiral staircase, each hour is represented by a triangular step, while the hands of white, navy or red metal wire leave a an individual shadow formation as they pass over each step. The 4th Dimension Clock stands out as a memorable example of innovative and stylish design, clearly illustrating the relationship between time and space.
